This class is suitable for adventurous bagmaking beginners and advanced sewers. The fabric pieces must be cut out before the day of the class to ensure that you will be finishing the project on the day. Difficulty level: intermediate
The bag has got lots of zippered pockets a short handle and one long de-tachable strap.
Finished measurements are approx. 11” wide x 10” tall x 3 ½” deep
The pattern will be posted to you when you have booked your space, so you can prepare your fabric pieces upfront.
Interfacing and wadding can be bought and cut out on the day of the class. We also have the zips and bag metal hardware available to buy.
Suggested fabrics: medium weight quilting cotton, linen, or linen/cotton blend fabric, lightweight denim
Materials you must bring: (fabric requirements are based on 42” wide fabric, 1FQ measures 18” x 21”) fabric A (exterior top) – 1FQ fabric B (contrasting exterior bottom + straps) – 60cm fabric C (lining) – 50cm fabric D (exterior pocket lining) - 1FQ matching thread
The following materials can be bought and cut out on the day of the class: H640 fusible fleece H250 interfacing - 1 metre two - 6” long metal or nylon zippers one – 8” long metal or nylon zipper one – magnetic snap closure two - 1” rectangle strap rings one - 1” rectangle strap slider
Tea and coffee are provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch, or pop over to the shops at lunch!
